Other covers I created for Seriously Siblings: Two of a Kind

BTW, I use Picasa 3 for editing.

Also, on 3 of the 4 the background is the four faces of the other. I used a technique called multiple exposure to do this:)

Seriously Siblings: Two of a Kind

Today, I am not advertising my own work. I am here to tell you about Seriously Siblings: Two of a Kind.

My new friend on Booksie, (Alain Lee) is currently writing a fantastic mystery novel.

I made him a cover for this story, and unfortuanately it won't show on the site. So, I got his permission and am here to tell you about his work:

Here is the link to the story:  Seriously Siblings: Two of A Kind.

And here is a link to Alain Lee's page:  Alain Lee

Please read the story. It is amazing and I know Alain Lee would appreciate any feedback on his work:)

Calling all Hunger Games Fans!

I finished reading the 3rd book a few days ago after winning book vouchers at school to buy it. I was surprised at every turn! Suzanne Collins is fantastic.
After reading such amazing books, I just had to write a FanFic for them.
So, all you Hunger Games enthusiasts, go and check out :  If We Burn, You Burn With Us

Here's the summary:
“Whoever captures the Mockingjay first wins the Games and the order to kill her. The other tribute will die by the Mockingjay’s hand and personal weapon. A lit arrow,”.
Thirty years after Panem's rebellion, President Paylor dissapears mysteriously. Forced to take her place is none other than Gale Hawthorne.
When Gale announces that the Hunger Games are to continue once again, Katniss Mellark is distraught when she realises her children, Alyssa and Nadin, could become District Twelve's newest tributes.
Can Katniss stop the Hunger Games again? Or will the fire spread too fast?

I've enjoyed writing it so far, and I hope you enjoy reading it:)
So, go and Enjoy!

The Possession: Tormented Past

I haven't got as far as a proper title for the 3rd book in the series, but it will have something to do with 'Past'.
Wanna know what it's about?
Too bad, you'll have to wait!
BUT in the mean time I've made a temporary cover. I will probably change it, but this is what it looks like at the minute.

The Possession: Soul Jewels

The second book in The Possession Series is called 'Soul Jewels'. Here is the cover:

I will post the summary when I have 1 chapter left of Secret Survivors.
Enjoy thinking about it!

The Possession: Secret Survivors

My novel, The Possession: Assassin's Child, has just recieved a new title!
Now known as The Possession: Secret Survivors, the story's plotline for what's to come has been revised. Expect some major changes.
Here is the new cover for the story!
(I don't own the original background image of any of the covers I post:) I got them all off Google)

(It says on the preview 'Book 1' but won't when I upload it ;( )
I'm on Chapter 15 of this story, and I think I'm going to add about 3 more, maybe 5. I know it's short but I'm nearly at the end of the plot rofl.
I don't want to drag it out too much. The next one will be much longer, maybe even double the length.
Enjoy!

Let It Rain (A Fantasy Novel)

If you wanna know more about my newest novel, check out : http://www.booksie.com/fantasy/novel/awniasa/let-it-rain-(a-fantasy-novel)
I don't own the background to this picture, got it off Google when I searched 'Rain'. I added the text using Photoshop CS4, and edited the colours using Picasa 3.

A small snippet of the last chapter of Dragosia...

"What do you mean?" Rhen asked, her voice faint.
"Exactly what we said. For us to give something to you, you must give something to us..." The voice was detatched, and Rhen couldn't make out exactly where it came from.
Then, a bolt of pain seared her temples, causing her to double over. Amie rushed over and looked to the sky.
"But...No..." Amie looked down at Rhen, and then back up to the sky. "That's impossible..."

Dun Dun Dun!!! So looking forward to posting this chapter! In the meantime, check Dragosia out at: http://www.booksie.com/fantasy/novel/rhensis/dragosiabook-1

My latest Poem...

The Season's Resonating Laughter

Twinkling stars gaze at us in the moonlight,
Watching Earth tell the story,
The story of the seasons, day and night,
A wonderful sight to behold.
Rain drops glisten in the morning sun,
The smell of the fresh thunderstorm fills the air,
A multicoloured rainbow’s time is over and done,
Trees sigh happily in the sweet bliss of morning.
A scorching heat weighs down on those who wander,
Piercing sunlight penetrates the Earth’s defences,
Satisfying those who see it as the sun’s favour,
Gradually lifting spirits of the oppressed and anxious.
Mid afternoon comes with a truly chilling wind,
Pure blankets of snow cover hard and frozen ground,
Fascinating flakes have endlessly twirled and swirled,
Baffling those who try to define them.
The stars return with a petrifying flash of lightning,
Terrifying animals and captivating children,
A cruel laugh resonates and Mother Nature is beaming,
Her curse set upon the world.
